Kosuke Sugawara
After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Economics, he joined Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC. Engaged in services such as financial statement audits, J-Sox audits, IFRS advisory guidance, and subsidiary research and guidance mainly in the global manufacturing industry. He was also seconded to Deloitte London office for two years, where he provided IFRS financial statement audit services, mainly to Japanese companies in the UK. At Univis, he is engaged in accounting, IPO and PMI consultancy service as the head of the Fukuoka branch and Malaysia Representative Office.

We will conduct a full range of support from preliminary market research and formulation of the form of expansion to support the actual entry procedure.
In the case of M&A, we provide one-stop business, financial, and tax due diligence for local companies. We provide the necessary information for investment decision-making based on interviews with the management and employees of the target company and on-site inspections.
We support the formulation of medium-term management plans, annual budgets, the setting of performance management indicators (KGI/KSF/KPI, etc.), the creation of budget performance variance analysis formats, and the implementation of variance analysis.
We provide comprehensive support while serving as a bridge between the local subsidiary and HQ so that M&A will be more beneficial not only for owners but also for local employees.
We will work with our partners to consistently implement everything from identifying issues to supporting their resolution. We will support all areas covered by CFOs, such as finance and accounting, human resources and labor, corporate planning, legal affairs, etc., by selecting and collaborating with the most suitable local partners (securities companies, audit firms, law firms, etc.). In addition to local listings, we can also support local companies listing in Japan.

We support the formulation of business plans, the setting of performance management indicators (KPIs, etc.), the analysis of forecasts and actual results, and the reporting of business results of local subsidiaries. We can also provide support for corporate planning and management accounting consulting for the entire company, including the head office. In addition, we provide support for early settlement of accounts, support for accounting audits, and insourcing of accounting operations in a manner that meets the concerns of clients.
